Approach to wellness: Mindfulness and yoga doesn’t work for every student, and that’s okay. I believe in integrating a student’s values, goals, and needs to find a holistic wellness approach that works for them. I like to help students find a proper balance in their life and equip them with positive coping skills when life challenges occur.
Personal interests: My current practice is on better balancing my “yes” and “no”s. Learning the balance of stepping forward into a challenge and when to take a step back and practice self-care. I’m a “social” introvert who prefers more low-key activities like ordering pizza and watching a movie on Netflix on a Saturday night with close friends. I also enjoy cooking, trying out new food/restaurants, kickboxing, and nerding out on data.
