Approach to wellness: As a wellness coach, I believe each student brings a set of unique strengths and values to their experience. My goal is to help students uncover their strengths and empower students to make choices that are in harmony with their values. I approach wellness holistically, and enjoy discussing how the many dimensions of wellness are connected. I use frameworks from positive psychology to help students integrate well-being in their academic, professional, and personal communities.
Personal Interests: As a native Michigander, I love being active and outdoors during all seasons. I especially love hiking around the Huron River. In my free time, I enjoy photography and any opportunity to connect with others through creativity. In order to find balance in my life, I practice yoga, spend time with friends, watch movies, and enjoy live music. I am recharged when I connect with others.
