Pathways to Recovery

Students for Recovery is sponsoring a new monthly peer-led meeting called Pathways to Recovery, which is designed to recognize and honor all students in recovery.

Pathways is a celebration of the wide variety of recovery experiences and aims to connect students in recovery, provide hope to those who may be searching for it and fight stigma.

This meeting is inclusive and open to all students who have found, are thinking about, or struggling to find recovery. Students who could benefit from attending this meeting are those who identify as being in recovery from drugs, alcohol, eating disorders, mental illness, trauma, and various other recovery identities.

This meeting is not treatment, nor is it designed to be a primary support, rather it is a venue for all those interested in coming together to celebrate recovery.

Format:

  1. Brief announcements related to the student organizations that sponsor Pathways
  2. A speaker followed by a question/answer session (at the speaker’s discretion)
  3. Free time to socialize, connect and exchange resources.
