Appointment or Walk-in
If you want to visit UHS, we recommend that you first call our
Appointment Scheduling Office at 734-764-8325 for advice about the
best way to visit. You may be able to make a same-day appointment.
Also, some services are available by appointment only (no walk-ins).

University Health Service offers two options for seeing a clinician.
|
|
| 1) Make an appointment whenever possible.
Same-day appointments are frequently available. Advantages
of appointments made in advance include:
- Reducing your wait time at UHS
- Seeing the clinician of your choice
- Scheduling a visit at a time that is convenient for you
- Seeing the same clinician you've seen before for a problem (continuity of care)
For appointments, call:
2) Walk-in without an appointment during building
hours for conditions that need to be treated as soon as possible.
Check in at the reception desk in the main lobby. The first available
clinician will see you as soon as possible. Wait time can vary.
Patients with pre-arranged appointments may be seen before you,
even if you have been waiting longer. Remember, when you make an
appointment, your wait time in the building will be reduced.
For advice:
- During open hours, you may call your clinician
or Nurse Advice Line at 734-763-4511. For gynecological concerns,
call the Gynecology Clinic at
734-763-9184.
- When UHS is closed: If your situation is not life threatening
but you have an urgent health care concern that cannot wait until
UHS opens, call our answering service at 734-662-5674.
