Mental Health Services at UHS

University Health Service clinicians provide medical management of common mental health issues.

UHS clinicians provide:

It is recommended that students and other patients make an appointment with a UHS clinician and continue to see him/her. Although patients may change clinicians at any time, seeing the same clinician allows patients to develop a relationship and helps ensure quality care.

Eligibility and Fees:

UM students (UM-Ann Arbor Campus) can use UHS and have few expenses at UHS, because they pay a health service fee as part of tuition that covers most UHS services (see Who Can Use UHS? for what's covered).

UM staff, faculty, alumni and their spouses, domestic partners, and dependents can also use UHS on a fee-for-service basis or through billable insurance. UHS is a primary care site for Premier Care Network 1 and GradCare.

How to Visit: See Appointment or Walk-in for information on visiting UHS.
