Health Promotion and Community Relations (HPCR) serves two functions.

1. Health Promotion: We provide information and referrals, collaborate and consult, influence policy and advocate for health for the UM campus community. See also Health Education, Health Topics A-Z , HIV Antibody Testing, BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students), Alcohol and Other Drugs Prevention Program.

2. Community Relations:

  • We create print and web materials, staff information tables and orient customers to UHS services.
  • We invite your feedback about UHS services. You can complete a "Comments, Please!" form at UHS, call or visit HPCR, or use the on-line Questions and Comments form. Any concerns will be handled confidentially.
  • The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) works with UHS staff to help improve services.
