Services

• Individual food-related counseling with a registered dietician about diet and disease, weight loss or weight gain, and healthy diet evaluations; no diagnoses are made
• Pamphlets on vegetarianism, exercise, cholesterol, weight reduction, and more. (Stop by Health Promotion and Community Relations, room 2110, UHS)
• Body fat testing - call for instructions
• Listening and coaching for support and planned interventions among peer groups

Referrals

• Currently enrolled UM students (that is, students who have paid the health service fee): No referral required.
• Premier Care members: UHS is a Network 1 provider. Referral from Primary Care Physician is required. A $15 copayment and deductible applies, and BCN-approved amount applies toward Lifetime Maximum after deductible is met.

Appointments are required. Call Appointment Scheduling at 734-764-8325. (Quick questions may be accommodated without an appointment if the dietitian is available.)
