Services  The Managed Care/Student Insurance Office staff assist clients who have:

• Premier Care
• GradCare
• UHS Prepaid Plan
• Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan
• UM International Student/Scholar Health Insurance Plan
• Tuition Refund Insurance
• Travel Abroad Health Insurance

We assist in:

• Processing claims
• Obtaining referrals
• Explanation of insurance benefits
• Assistance with other facilities' billing
• Processing referrals and scheduling appointments outside UHS

Student Health Insurance Committee (SHIC) is chaired by the Managed Care/Student Insurance Office. SHIC provides an affordable yet comprehensive health insurance plan (see Domestic Student Health Insurance Plan) and addresses domestic health insurance issues on campus.
