Health Promotion and Community Relations

Health Promotion and Community Relations (HPCR) serves two functions.

1. Health Promotion We provide information and referrals, collaborate and consult, influence policy and advocate for health for the UM campus community. See also Health Education, Wolverine Wellness, HIV Antibody Testing, BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students), HPCR staff and Mental Health Resources.

2. Community Relations

• We provide written materials about UHS, staff information tables and orient customers to UHS services.
• We invite your feedback about UHS services. You can complete a "Comments, Please!" form at UHS, call or visit HPCR, or use the on-line Questions and Comments form. Any concerns will be handled confidentially.
• The Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC) works with UHS staff to help improve services.
